Our Mission

About

The Céide Coast Community Company (CCCC) was formed in 2017 with the ambition to reverse rural depopulation and help reinvigorate the economy of North Mayo in particular in the regions surrounding the Céide Coast including Ballycastle, Belderrig, Lacken, areas. This is local people saying that local issues can be addressed by local people.   The CCCC is located at the Céide Coast Eco Campus on main street Ballycastle in Co. Mayo.  This village is based on the North coastline of the county, a 26 km drive from Ballina. Ballycastle is home to national landmarks such as Céide Fields and Dún Bríste, and since it's inception the CCCC has already transformed the old secondary school into an Eco campus that offers a social enterprise for locals and visitors to engage for work, social activities, and civic spaces for the wider community.
